Soaring Spirits: Songwriting for the NAF
Writing, Remembering and Recording Songs
Soaring Spirits
The Soaring Spirits workshop, held in September of 2014, was a great success! Participants came from all over the U.S. and Canada to learn the basics of songwriting for the NAF. During the four days of the workshop they composed a song and then performed and recorded it. Surrounded by the rich and vibrant Southwestern culture of Santa Fe, the participants of the “Soaring Spirits” workshop spent four days composing and recording songs on their Native American Style flutes.
